A foolball player recently died over spring break. He was on vacation in Florida. He was partying and drinking. He drank to much, fell off a balcony and died. he was a college student at Notre Dame. At 6 foot 6 and 260 pounds he was an offensive and defensive lineman. This was a major loss. Don't drink! It ruins lives.

How to Annoy Siblings
Have your siblings ever been annoying you? I know ours annoy us. Well if they do here are someways to annoy them back.
- Don't stop talking. Keep on talking about silly things that your siblings don't care about.
- Laugh very very loudly.
- Do the total opposite of what they are saying.
- Follow them in public places.
- Only say words that start with the same letter.
- Bother them when they have friends over.
- Read their text messages on their phone if they have a phone.
- Start randomly poking them hard in their sides.
- Answer questions with other questions.
- Hide their stuff when they are not looking.
- Also if you are small enough or big enough you could wear their clothes.
Well these are only somethings you can do to annoy people or siblings. There are a lot more, believe me. Do you know anymore good ways too annoy siblings or just people?

Whats Happining In Art?
For the past weeks in art we are doing some fun projects. The projects are weaving, 3-D shapes and in that lesson we learned how to shade them in. We made a space project with oil pastles, we also made these doors with oil pastles, and now we are doing a fish project with oil pastles . If you go to art next have fun doing your projects!

Earth Day
What can we do to save our Earth ? On April 22 we will be helping to make our world a better place that is Earth Day . We could recycle paper, cardboard and
plastic. We could also be planting new trees to help the enviorment to replace the trees that we cut down . You could also help by walking , like if you live about 10 houses away from the school dont ask for a ride to school instead walk. dont use to much carbon dioxide it is effecting the Ozone Layer. The Ozone Layer protects us from the suns heat . If it wasnt there you would burn if you went outside and all the ice would melt and it would create a flood in the future . Every Earth day remember to do the 3r's. Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle . Remember that the world is important to us because it'sthe only place we have to live and we need to keep it clean. Don't use as much paper , buy reuse paper . In a notebook don't just use the first page use all pages front and back . We need to help our world to make it a better place. Can you think of anymore things to help?

G-K Baseball League
No more drafting if you were on a team last year and are stuck in the same league because coaches are complaining about how they have to restart teaching with the baseball rules and how they want them to pitch and steal. What do you think about re-drafting?
The teams are Blue Jays, Indians, Angels, Red Sox, White Sox, D-Backs, but some of the teams are not in the league anymore. There are some Kirkland teams.
There's T-ball 5-6 year old, Instrucinal 7-8 years old, Minor 9-10 years old, Bronco 11-12 years old, and Pony 13-14 years old. Games start the first week of May. There is a concession stand at the ballparks and there is a park to.

The White Sox Opening Game
Mark Bushle was the starter pitcher for the Sox. They came out winning 6-0. They versed the Cleveland Indians. There were no relievers. The second game they lost 5-3. They had versed the Cleveland Indians 3 times. Paul Konerko hit a homerun in the second game, and tie up the game with a curve ball. Our favorite players are: A.J. Piersinsky, Jake Peavy, and Mark Kotsay. What is your favorite player?
By: Taylor Fowler, Jake Walitzer, and Matt Cornell.
No Homework In May!
During the month of May, there shouldn't be any homework, because it is becoming warm, it is the last moth of school, and there are lots of sports going on in May. Sam, Gianna, Abbey, and I asked Mrs.Schumacher and she said, "homework in math is very important, but we do need a break sometimes, especially when it is warm out." When it is warm out, you wouldn't want to be be stuck inside doing homework, when you could be outside playing with your friends. The last month of school is supposed to be fun. There is a lot of sports that are starting for the summer. What is you opinion? Do you think there should be homework in May or should we not?

Spring Storms
March 21, spring started. beautiful weather, blooming flowers, and also spring storms. These storms are windy, destructive, and harsh. All of the kids have to stay inside and do something else other than being outside. On Easter Monday, it was beautiful during the day time. That was until 4:00 p.m .Later that night I believe we had a micro-burst. A micro burst is a mini tornado that doesn't touch the ground, but causes a lot of damage. The storm was all the way in West Chicago. That's about 45 min away! I think this storm was trying to wake us up, so we know its spring. Do you like storms? Do you watch storms from your windows? What is a microburst?

Our Medieval Reports
We are starting our medieval reports. The last week we have gotten information from books and online research sites. There are many topics to pick from out of our medieval subject sheet, such as Black Death, knights, medicine, hunting, jousting, and even clothing. Or we could pick our own topic that has something to do with the medieval time period. We are learning a lot about our topics that we have chosen. Such as medicine, for toothaches they would mix rose oil, a poeny root, and sulpher, or that Ring Around the Rosie was based off of what happened with the Black Death (Bubonic Plague). We will start our rough draft soon and finish our reports after spring break. What new information did you learn about medieval times?
