March 21, spring started. beautiful weather, blooming flowers, and also spring storms. These storms are windy, destructive, and harsh. All of the kids have to stay inside and do something else other than being outside. On Easter Monday, it was beautiful during the day time. That was until 4:00 p.m .Later that night I believe we had a micro-burst. A micro burst is a mini tornado that doesn't touch the ground, but causes a lot of damage. The storm was all the way in West Chicago. That's about 45 min away! I think this storm was trying to wake us up, so we know its spring. Do you like storms? Do you watch storms from your windows? What is a microburst?

ReplyDeleteI love storms, when I was little my dad and I would sit out in the garage and watch them. It was so much fun and in july we could even see the fire works from our house! We would watch them all night>
ReplyDeleteI love most storms. My favorite are lightning storms. I love watching them through our front window. They are very interesting to me.

ReplyDeleteI honestly don't like watching storms from anywhere in the house because it makes me freak out. It also makes me scream until I have an headache. Sometimes I think that the neighbors here me scream.

ReplyDeleteI don't like most storms and I don't watch storms out my window.When the storm happened my garbage can lid flew off.We couldn't find it.That storm was a very heavy storm.
ReplyDeleteI don't like storms.They wake me up in the middle of the night, ALL THE TIME!Sometimes, I like to watch the rain drops from my window, or from the car window. I also like the sound of the rain on the car or on the camper roof.

ReplyDeleteI hate really bad thunderstorms, because my mom and me had to go get my sister from her friends house to see if she was o k, and it was scary because when we went their was another tornadoe.

I love thunderstorms they are so cool to watch when my lights went out I watched the storm from my front window and watched recycle bins go everywhere.
ReplyDeleteOn the first day of spring, it was actually snowing! I was amazed! I love watching storms from my window, but my mom yells at me because she wants me to be safe! It's really fun watching the lighting.
